Exhibitions & Writings

Scientists from disciplines as diverse as ornithology, entomology and pteridology etc, field naturalists and, of course ! orchid fanatics from around the world have generously shared their time and knowledge to help me ensure accuracy. Botanical Gardens, Natural History Museums and other scientific institutions worldwide including The Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew and the Serres of the French Senat, at the Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris, amongst many others, have kindly allowed me access to their private collections. The Missouri Botanic Gardens and the Tsimbazaza Botanical Gardens, Antananarivo, Madagascar and the Instituto Ecologia, Xalapa, Mexico, amongst others, have offered invaluable help. Many private individuals, such as a, now retired, Director of the Rockefeller Foundation for the Arts, a member of the Royal Family of Thailand and Professor David Bellamy O.B.E. and Prof. Gren Lucas have given encouragement and support.
